Designed for dogs who prefer to simply lie down and relax, the Large Red Light Therapy Pad delivers both red light (660nm) and near-infrared light (850nm) simultaneously across the full back, hips and surrounding joints. Both wavelengths work at the same time in every session, targeting surface tissue and deeper joints together.
With 210 lamp beads across a 68cm x 33cm pad and up to 22W of power, it provides broader coverage than any single targeted pad, making it the natural choice for senior dogs, larger breeds, and dogs experiencing arthritis, hip stiffness or age-related mobility changes.

Red light therapy (also known as photobiomodulation) uses specific wavelengths of light to support the body's natural recovery processes at a cellular level, without any heat, discomfort or medication.
This pad uses two wavelengths working simultaneously, so your dog always receives the full benefit of both lights regardless of which setting you choose:

Everything is designed to make therapy simple and consistent at home. The handheld control panel gives you full control over every session without disturbing your dog once they are settled.
Five power levels (P1 to P5), allowing you to start gently and build up as your dog gets comfortable. We use P1 or P2 with Mila day to day, and go up to P4 or P5 on days when she is particularly stiff.

Mila’s routine
Mila is an active 8-year-old who loves water, chasing balls and running after squirrels. So when she started slowing down after walks, struggled to get up and started to limp, we knew something wasn’t right.
After vet visits and X-rays, she was diagnosed with arthritis in her back legs. We didn’t want to rely only on medication, so we looked for something we could use at home to support her comfortably.
That’s when we introduced red light therapy into her routine.
On days when she’s more tired, this larger pad has been especially helpful. Instead of targeting one joint at a time, she can lie down and receive gentle, full-body support.
Used regularly, we’ve seen a clear difference in how she recovers after walks, less stiffness, more comfort, and ready to go again the next day.
She’s still the same energetic Mila. This just helps her stay comfortable doing what she loves.
How it works
Allows light to pass through to the skin beneath, rather than blocking it entirely.
Red light (660nm) is absorbed largely at this outer surface layer.

Red light therapy can feel like a bit of a mystery from the outside, so we wanted to show you exactly what's happening underneath the fur.
This diagram shows how red and near-infrared light behave once they reach your dog's skin. Red light (660nm) stays closer to the surface, while near-infrared light (850nm) travels further, reaching down into the muscle layer beneath.
It's a completely natural process, simply light interacting with the body. Nothing is injected, ingested, or absorbed chemically, which is why it's such a gentle addition to your dog's routine.

Fantastic product and outstanding customer service
I bought the ChillyPup Red Light Therapy Pad for my 11-year-old Labrador, Murphy, who has spinal arthritis, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with both the product and the service I’ve received.
Customer service has been excellent from the very beginning, both before I ordered and afterwards. When I recently had an issue with the controller, ChillyPup responded incredibly quickly, helped identify the problem and immediately arranged a replacement, while reassuring me that Murphy could continue using his pad in the meantime.
The pad itself is so easy to use. Murphy has 30 minutes under it every evening and, rather surprisingly, he genuinely seems to enjoy his “blanket time”! He settles down happily and it has become part of our nightly routine.
Most importantly, since using it consistently I’ve noticed a really positive change in him. Obviously his red light therapy is only one part of managing his arthritis, but he has been noticeably more comfortable, playful and much more like his old self. For an older dog with a chronic condition, seeing that change is priceless.

Bought for alba who is almost 14. Its definitely making a difference to the point of when i put it on my brothers rottie roxy that alba got upset 😅. They have learned to share. I have noticed a difference in her mobility, especially after big days. Think im needing a second for poor roxy ☺️

Very pleased with everything. Great service, communication as well as advice. Seems a very genuine business. Have only started using the large pad, so too early to say how good it will be , but hoping will help Alfie , our 15 year old staffy's rear legs/hips. Managed eventually to gently place it over his back while sleeping and he seemed fine with it, long may it continue.

I purchased a red light therapy mat. My shihpoo has already showed improvement in what can be described as slight lameness in his left rear leg. He is currently having hydro therapy too. I bought this because my doggo was diagnosed with IVDD and had to have spinal surgery. I wanted something to ease his recovery and for long term use for his condition. I'm so glad I bought this, my doggo absolutely loves it and it really does make a difference. Each time I turn it on, he melts into the pillows and has the best sleep, and I can see how it eases his pain. It's been fantastic as a supplementary treatment along with his rehab and rest. I have a little French bulldog who’s four years old and was diagnosed with IVDD a few months ago. I bought one of the large red light mats for my German Sheppard, Luna. We've managed to convince her to sit on it after some persuasion! We really have seen a difference! Have been looking for better way to use red light for my dog as been using my face panel on her but through research I found out for dogs to get the benefits it’s best to use a device that they wear or have placed on them as their fur can stop some of the energy from the lights to penetrate. Found this one online and was the right wavelengths needed and nice to be able to support a small independent company too. First time of use and Nelly climbed on the pad happy and relaxed.

I purchased 2 of the large pads for both my fur babies as they both have arthritis and my lady has luxating patellar's. I was looking for something to work alongside their pain meds and supplements.
Firstly the customer service from Elliott and Mila is exceptional, I made a mistake on my address and contacted ChillyPup and they were more than helpful with information and even tracked my parcel for me to ensured it was delivered for me.
The pads are a great size and both my pups fit on them with ease.
My lady has taken to the pad really well and will lay and relax on it without much persuasion, my boy on the other hand is more stubborn and it will take alot more treats to convince him that its there to help.
Although I've only had them a few days I am hopeful to see a small benefit in the next couple of weeks.
I am tempted to give them a go myself, it might stop my aches and pains getting out of bed in a morning

It's lovely to hear how differently your two have taken to the pads already, one settling in straight away and the other needing a bit more convincing with treats. I bought this, originally, for my 9yo black lab, Harry... however it turns out we're all loving it! 😅 After a few weeks of use, Harry seems to be moving just as well as he ever has and gets the zoomies out on his walks, my 19yo cat has started jumping between couches again and I (18months in recovery from a badly broken leg) find it incredibly soothing! My 7 month old puppy Milo has been suffering with really bad back pain due to his spine. Therefore, we started his red light therapy today and I must say it does definitely work! We started with only ten minute sessions to see how he would take to it and he absolutely loves it! We noticed whenever we put the red light on he is instantly relaxed and goes straight to sleep during the session. However, I am more than pleased with this red light but I was unsure at first for buying until I read the reviews and wow I am glad I bought it for my boy :)

We debated between sizes but went for the large pad because Winston stiffness isn’t just one joint, it’s hips and back.He simply lies across it and relaxes. He’s getting up more comfortably and seems to move more freely.
If your dog has general stiffness rather than one specific area, go for the large. It’s worth it.

We leave the large pad set up in Archie's usual resting spot and he naturally goes and lies on it. That was the reassurance I needed.
Since using it consistently, Archie seems more comfortable after playtime and settles much quicker in the evenings. I originally found this through Mila and that authenticity really mattered when spending this amount. It feels premium and it performs like it too.

Our Frenchie has Bella always had a sensitive back folloing having IVDD and I’m constantly watching how she moves.
